Players costing $6,667 or under

Rajon Rondo (at ATL – $6,200): Needs 27.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 12.1 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Rondo’s minutes were down against the Sixers and the Lakers lost. Coincidence? I think not. If LeBron is out, Rondo will definitely get more minutes because he is a reliable playmaking option. And I trust that he’ll get more minutes regardless because he’s actually one of the useful veterans on the Lakers. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

DJ Augustin (at NO – $5,400): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.6 fantasy points against Atlanta. Augustin is coming off a strong game against the Hawks so hopefully, he’s worked himself into some type of rhythm. The matchup is good and Augustin always gets the minutes and plenty of opportunities. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Patty Mills (at MEM – $4,400): Needs 19.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.3 fantasy points against Utah. With Derrick White out of the lineup, Mills has been the one to step up his game. Forbes is the starter and will continue to get his minutes but Mills has been the better option of the two in recent contests. It doesn’t matter the matchup, Mills will get his opportunities. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
