High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Andre Drummond (at BOS – $9,100): Needs 42.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 64.25 fantasy points against Washington. Drummond has been fantastic in the last month and now he gets a Boston team on a back-to-back. He had 62.5 fantasy points against the Celtics on Dec. 15. With no Aaron Baynes in the lineup for the Celtics, they aren’t exactly undersized, but they do lack a bigger body who they can throw on Drummond. I’m expecting a big game out of him in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Myles Turner (vs MIL – $6,600): Needs 30.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.5 fantasy points against Charlotte. Turner continues to play a reliable game for the Pacers and his salary hasn’t changed. The matchup is tough because the Bucks are an outstanding team but I love the way Turner has played this season and the Pacers always put up a fight. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Bobby Portis (at TOR – $6,300): Needs 29.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.75 fantasy points against Detroit. Portis has been outstanding for the Wizards since the trade and is their only real frontcourt presence. Sorry, Thomas Bryant. It’s a tough matchup but Portis is a guy who thrives in these tough matchups. He’s shooting well and he’ll chip in with a couple of rebounds and defensive plays. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
