Players costing $6,250 or under

Jamal Murray (vs SAC – $6,100): Needs 28.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.25 fantasy points against Miami. Murray is an inconsistent option but I love this matchup for the Nuggets and I probably won’t give them enough love on Wednesday. Look, it’s a busy day and there is some better value out there in my mind. And I’ll get to why I’m a little scared of the Nuggets in a second. One guy I’m not scared of is Murray. I’m expecting him to have a big offensive game in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jeff Teague (vs HOU – $5,800): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.5 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Teague is back in the starting lineup and his minutes are up. You can also go with Derrick Rose here but I’m not sure he’s fully healthy from the ankle injury. Teague is inconsistent and wasn’t playing well before he got injured but the Rockets are a good enough matchup and he does have a high ceiling. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Monte Morris (vs SAC – $4,600): Needs 21.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.2 fantasy points against Miami. And we’re back on the Nuggets. And the reason I’m scared for the Nuggets. Isaiah Thomas is potentially going to be back for this game and I don’t know how he is going to fit in with the Nuggets, who are better than even they probably expected. Morris would be the most likely guy to suffer and that would be a shame because he’s been fantastic. His salary remains good if he does get those minutes. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
