Players costing over $6,250

Kawhi Leonard (vs WAS – $9,400): Needs 42.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.5 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Kawhi looked more like himself against the Nets and now he gets a good matchup against the Wizards. Kawhi usually plays his best when he’s challenged on both ends of the floor and Beal will certainly challenge him on both ends of the floor. He’s averaging 60.9 fantasy points in two games against the Wizards this season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Lauri Markkanen (vs MEM – $8,100): Needs 37.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51.25 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Markkanen is still hot so until he shows signs of slipping, you can keep taking him with confidence. Especially against this matchup with the Grizzlies being the Grizzlies are on a back-to-back. The scoring is there, the rebounds are there in a big way and he’s chipping in with assists. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Larry Nance Jr (vs BKN – $6,700): Needs 30.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.5 fantasy points against New York. Kevin Love is back but he’s not playing many minutes. Nance Jr is still the starter and he has a great matchup against the Nets. He also remains at a good salary compared to the rest of the high salary guys. Much like Markkanen, until I see signs of him slipping, I’m taking him with confidence. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
