High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Serge Ibaka (vs WAS – $6,100): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Ibaka remains under the salary line despite constantly producing big games. And now he gets the Wizards. Washington has more frontcourt options following the trade but Ibaka has dominated much better frontcourt this year. I continue to love his game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Trevor Ariza (at TOR – $5,700): Needs 25.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.75 fantasy points against Detroit. Ariza continues to play a reliable game for the Wizards. And he’s a guy who can raise his level in these big matchups. He had 54.25 fantasy points in the double OT game a month ago. He does a bit of everything and will continue to get those opportunities with the way the Wizards are constructed. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jake Layman (vs GS – $4,100): Needs 18.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.5 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. We’re diving deep into a game I haven’t touched on because I find more value elsewhere, but you might need a very low salary guy to hit big if you hope of stealing some money on Wednesday. And Layman is a guy who gets a lot of minutes and opportunities off the Portland bench. Maybe the Warriors are tired on the back-to-back. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
