High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Mason Plumlee (vs SAC – $6,000): Needs 26.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.1 fantasy points against Miami. As long as Plumlee continues to start, you can continue to take him with confidence. He’s been very good as the starter, going over 30 fantasy points in all four games. And now he has a great matchup against the Kings where the pace should high and offense should be plentiful. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Brook Lopez (at IND – $5,500): Needs 24.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.5 fantasy points against Chicago. You typically know what you’re going to get with Lopez. The minutes and opportunities are going to be there for him in the Bucks system. It’s just a matter of him getting shots to fall. And even if shots aren’t falling, he’s not chipping in with assists and defense. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Mitchell Robinson (vs PHI – $5,000): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.1 fantasy points against Cleveland. If you’ve been reading for the past week or so, you’ll know that I’ve been banging on Mitchell because the Knicks are still giving him solid minutes and he’s making the most of those minutes. The Sixers are on a back-to-back, which will hopefully help Mitchell out. He’s at a great salary if you want to save money, get good production and spend elsewhere. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
