Players costing $6,667 or under

Jordan Clarkson (vs BKN – $6,200): Needs 26.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.7 fantasy points against New York. Clarkson wasn’t as good as I expected against the Knicks but I like this matchup for him and the opportunities will continue to be there for him. He had 40.2 fantasy points against the Nets on Dec. 3 if you’re looking for some extra confidence. Expect a bounce-back performance from him in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Malcolm Brogdon (at IND – $5,800): Needs 25.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.7 fantasy points against Chicago. You typically know what you’re going to get from Brogdon. He plays a very reliable game and has the ability to deliver in a big way. And this feels like one of his bigger games based on the opponent. The Pacers will make this game competitive, leading to more opportunities for Brogdon. Diagnosis:

Dwyane Wade (at DAL – $5,700): Needs 24.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.7 fantasy points against Denver. I’m expecting a big outing from Wade in this game. It’s his final trip to Dallas, where he won his first championship and where he was prevented from winning his second championship. Dirk might not have it anymore, but Wade can still turn back the clock. And this feels like one of those games. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
