High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Lauri Markkanen (vs MEM – $8,500): Needs 36.fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49.9 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Markkanen continues to be red hot for the Bulls and I trust him with everything right now. He’s shooting well and he’s pitching in with big rebounding numbers. And now he gets the Grizzlies on a back-to-back. This should be another strong outing from Markkanen. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Larry Nance Jr (vs BKN – $7,600): Needs 32.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.2 fantasy points against New York. Kevin Love is back in the lineup but he’s not playing many minutes and Nance Jr continues to eat up the production in the Cavaliers frontcourt. The matchup is a good one and given the way Nance is playing right now and the circumstances, he’s proven to be a trustworthy option. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Serge Ibaka (vs WAS – $6,900): Needs 29.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.9 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Longtime readers will know that I love combining Ibaka and Siakam at power forward. They are reliable options and one of them typically hits big. They are also at an affordable salary as a duo. And on a big night like tonight, you can find plenty of value in other positions to offset to higher salary guys at power forward. I like Ibaka slightly more if you’re trying to pick between the two. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
