FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 13, 2019
High Value PF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Marvin Bagley III (at DEN – $6,500): Needs 28 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.9 fantasy points against Phoenix. We’re going essentially all chalk when it comes to value power forwards. There just isn’t a whole lot to like under the top guys although one will obviously hit in a big way because that’s just how things work. Look towards Marcus Morris if you want to save money here. As for MB3, he’s playing great and I love this matchup. The points should be plentiful in this game given how both teams play. And MB3’s style fits perfectly. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Bobby Portis (at TOR – $6,500): Needs 28 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.5 fantasy points against Detroit. Portis has been playing great since the trade and is really the only true frontcourt option for the Wizards because Thomas Bryant isn’t all that reliable. It’s a tough matchup but Portis has delivered plenty of times in tough matchups and he’s been doing work with the Wizards. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Thaddeus Young (vs MIL – $6,400): Needs 27.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.6 fantasy points against Charlotte. Young has been a bit down in recent games but the minutes continue to be there for him. And while this is a tough matchup, he did have 60.2 fantasy points against the Bucks on Dec. 12. We’ll just ignore the 9.2 fantasy point game against the Bucks on Oct. 19 since it was the second game of the season. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
