DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 14, 2019
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,250
Jrue Holiday (vs OKC – $8,400): Needs 39.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.25 fantasy points against Orlando. Oh boy. Look, I don’t know what’s going on with the Pelicans. They are calling each other out, they aren’t playing hard, no one is really producing. And now they face a Thunder team on a roll and playing together more than any Thunder team I’ve ever seen. This could get ugly and I don’t trust Holiday like I typically do. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
Jeremy Lamb (at ORL – $5,700): Needs 26 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.75 fantasy points against Indiana. Lamb has been playing great for th Hornets in recent contests and now he gets a good matchup against the Magic. This projects to be the most competitive game of the night so the minutes and opportunities will be there for him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
High Value SG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Evan Fournier (vs CHA – $5,500): Needs 25.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36 fantasy points against New Orleans. And while Lamb is playing great for the Hornets, Fournier has been producing for the Magic. Everything said about Lamb pretty much applies to Fournier although he’s not quite as reliable. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Kadeem Allen (at ATL – $4,200): Needs 19.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.25 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Allen has played very well for the Knicks since they overhauled their roster with the Porzingis trade. He gets the minutes to produce and the pace will be up in this one, which should lead to more scoring opportunities for Allen. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
