High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Paul George (at NO – $10,700): Needs 48.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 88.5 fantasy points against Portland. If Paul George is going to get triple-doubles now then we may as well shut DFS down. You can always count on PG, no matter the matchup or salary. ANd if this one turns into a blowout, it’ll be because PG catches on fire and the Pelicans can’t do anything about it. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Aaron Gordon (vs CHA – $6,600): Needs 30 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35 fantasy points against New Orleans. Gordon will get you something. He’ll probably fall short of value but he always does a little bit. And the potential for him to have a big game is there. We just haven’t seen it too often because he’s such an inconsistent option. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Jonathan Isaac (vs CHA – $5,800): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.75 fantasy points against New Orleans. I much prefer Isaac to Gordon. He’s not only played better in recent games but he saves you some money. I love his game right now and he should be in for another strong night based on the matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Taurean Prince (vs NY – $4,700): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Kevin Huerter is listed as probable, which means he’ll probably play, but in case he doesn’t play, it’ll open up more opportunities for Prince and Bazemore. Prince at least starts so he’s getting solid minutes regardless and the matchup is good because it’s the Knicks. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
