2. Jordan Hicks, ILB

Hicks has proven to be a player that can be impactful when he’s not on injured reserve. Signing another linebacker that is prone to injury will be unappealing to most Redskins fans, but he has posted great stats when he is healthy. In 2016, the only full season he played without injury, he had 86 tackles, six tackles for loss, five interceptions, one sack, one fumble recovery, and eleven pass deflections. In 2018, he played 12 games, totaling 91 tackles, six quarterback hits, three sacks, one fumble recovery, and five pass deflections.

While injuries have slowed down his career, Hicks has improved as a pass-rusher and a tackler. The Redskins finished the 2018 season as the No. 18 passing defense. They could definitely use the help in 2019.

Hicks has expressed some interest in staying in Philadelphia, but also said he is open to going somewhere else. He’s coming off a rookie contract where he didn’t make that much money, so he will be looking for a bigger payday in 2019. If the Eagles decide Hicks isn’t worth the money, he would be a great steal for the Redskins.
