Cody Ford. 23. player. 10. . Offensive Lineman. Oklahoma

The Houston Texans were one of the hotter teams in the NFL for most of the season, as they ran off nine straight victories, and won the AFC South. Unfortunately, the Texans lost to the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card round, ending their season much earlier than many anticipated they would.

As they look to next season, they have a bunch of solid pieces in place on both sides of the ball, including star quarterback Deshaun Watson. The issue with Watson is that he takes too many hits, and that is mostly due to the fact that the Texans offensivef line was nothing to write home about last season.

With their first round pick in the 2019 NFL draft, the Texans should look to bring in an offensive lineman, and Cody Ford from Oklahoma is a guy who could go in the first round. Ford is a guy who brings great versatility to the offensive line, and the Texans need to do everything that they can to bring in talent to protect their number one asset this off-season.

The Texans definitely ended the 2018 season on a sour note, as they had the talent to make a run towards the Super Bowl. They have a small window left with guys like JJ Watt leading their defense, so they need to make sure they do everything they can to make sure the offensive side of the ball is solid in 2019 and beyond.
