2019 NFL mock draft: Cardinals select Quinnen Williams

The Los Angeles Rams made it all the way to the Super Bowl this past season, as they really capitalized on a stellar off-season heading into the year. During the off-season, the Rams picked up guys like Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib, and the Ndamukong Suh, really bolstering the defensive side of the ball.
At the trade deadline, the Rams continued to make moves to bolster the defense, trading for Dante Fowler Jr. with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Heading into the 2019 NFL Draft, the Rams should continue to focus their efforts on the defensive side of the ball, and may want to roll the dice on an injured defensive tackle.
Prior to him tearing his ACL, Jeffery Simmons from Mississippi State was considered a top-15 pick, though his draft stock should fall a little bit due to the injury. If he is available at No. 31 overall, the Rams would be bringing in one of the more talented players in this draft class, and they could afford to allow him to get healthy before putting him on the field late next season.
This Rams team is pretty young at a lot of key positions, and they should be one of the better teams in the NFC once again the season. Jared Goff will have to prove that he can win football games on a consistent basis, but Sean McVay is one of the better young head coaches in football, making this team one that should be solid for the foreseeable future.
