DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 21, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Kyrie Irving (at MIL – $9,200): Needs 43.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.75 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Pay no attention to Kyrie’s last game. He played only 14 minutes and then the team fell apart when he got injured. He was fine for the All-Star break and will be fine for this one. And he was rolling prior to getting injured against the Clippers. It’s a tough matchup but Kyrie is one guy you can count on for the Celtics who will step his game up and deliver. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Steph Curry (vs SAC – $9,000): Needs 42 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.75 fantasy points against Portland. Curry continues to play a reliable game and now he has a great matchup against the Kings. He’s been over 57 fantasy points in both games against the Kings this season. The Kings pace plays right into the Warriors pace and Curry is unstoppable when he gets hot. The ceiling might be a bit more limited in this one due to a certain center. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Damian Lillard (at BKN – $8,600): Needs 40.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.75 fantasy points against Golden State. Lillard was playing fantastic prior to the break and he’ll probably come out of the break feeling good after his performance in the All-Star game. The matchup is certainly a good one as this should be an offensive showdown. Lillard averaged 47.9 fantasy points against the Nets in two games last season. Just a lot of strong point guard options on Thursday. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
