High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Rajon Rondo (vs HOU – $5,800): Needs 27.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.75 fantasy points against Atlanta. After barely playing against the Sixers, Rondo saw his minutes go back up against the Hawks. And they’ll need him against the Rockets, especially if Lonzo Ball is still out of action. Rondo takes this matchup personal and typically does well against the Rockets. He had 41.75 fantasy points against them in the infamous spit/finger game in October. As I harped on prior to the break, he’s been one veteran who has delivered for LA. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jordan Clarkson (vs PHO – $5,700): Needs 26.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 64.5 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Clarkson was rolling prior to the break and now he comes back with a matchup against the Suns. This is probably going to be an ugly affair but points should be scored. And Clarkson remains the best perimeter option on the Cavaliers. He’ll probably be feeling himself after the Brooklyn game as well. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Malcolm Brogdon (vs BOS – $5,000): Needs 23.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.25 fantasy points against Indiana. But if you don’t want to spend on Clarkson or Rondo and you want to go with a safer option, albeit one whose ceiling isn’t quite as high, there is Brogdon. He’s been reliable all season and he’s at a great salary on Thursday. I love everything about Brogdon in this one and he’s a salary saver who should provide excellent value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
