High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (at LAL – $11,600): Needs 54.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 58.25 fantasy points against Minnesota. James Harden is back to steal all your fantasy points. You already know he’s getting 30 points. He’s going to get 30 points a night for the rest of the season. Go ahead and write that down. It’s just a matter of how many 3s he’ll hit and how many assists/rebounds he picks up as well. But he’s going to get you at least value and this feels like a bigger game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

D’Angelo Russell (vs POR – $8,200): Needs 38.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 55.75 fantasy points against Cleveland. Russell was crushing it prior to the break and hopefully the break, and being around fellow All-Stars, will take him to a new level. The concern I have with this one is that LeVert will be healthier and the dynamic is going to shift in a bad way for Russell. It didn’t slow him against Cleveland, but that’s Cleveland. Because of that, he’s a slight risk, but a very high reward. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Buddy Hield (at GS – $6,400): Needs 29.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.25 fantasy points against Denver. Hield was playing very well prior to the break as his scoring numbers stayed up and he’s started pitching in with plenty of rebounds and a handful of assists. He’s averaging 43.3 fantasy points in three games against the Warriors this season, so we know he can raise his level against them. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
