High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Larry Nance Jr (vs PHO – $7,200): Needs 33.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.5 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Nance Jr got moved to the bench but still produced a solid outing. Kevin Love is getting healthier though Tristan Thompson looks to be out for this game. Keep an eye on both of those things. But neither is going to get guaranteed minutes while Nance has proven himself capable all season. And it’s the Suns. Feel free to save money and take a slight risk on Love. If he gets big minutes, he’ll hit in a monster way. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Tobias Harris (vs MIA – $6,600): Needs 30.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40 fantasy points against New York. Harris has been up-and-down since joining the Sixers but overall, I love his game and his fit on the team. And as he starts to get more comfortable, he’ll continue to make a big impact. He remains at a good salary given his usual minutes and overall production. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Kenneth Faried (at LAL – $6,300): Needs 29.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.75 fantasy points against Minnesota. It’s very possible Clint Cappella is back for the Rockets in this one. And if he’s back, that’s going to push Faried down the rotation and he definitely won’t get the minutes or opportunities we’ve been seeing from him. The matchup is a great one because it’s the Lakers frontcourt and he’s at a very good salary. But if Capela plays, you’re playing Faried at your own risk, but I’ve covered every other high salary guy at this position. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling. Much depends on the status of Capela.
