High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Hassan Whiteside (vs PHI – $7,300): Needs 33 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 17.6 fantasy points against Dallas. No Joel Embiid should have Whiteside feeling good about himself. He’s at a good salary and could do some big damage with Embiid off the floor. Assuming Whiteside himself can stay on the floor. There are some strong options at center. Capela will be welcomed back with open arms and Ayton gets to go up against the Cavaliers. But Whiteside has a high ceiling and a more favorable matchup than initially expected. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a high ceiling.

Al Horford (at MIL – $8,000): Needs 36.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48.8 fantasy points against Detroit. Horford was playing well going into the break but the return of Irving will take a little something away from him. Not too much as the two got into a nice rhythm prior to Kyrie’s injury. And even though the Bucks are a different team this year, Horford constantly finds ways to burn them. He should be in for another strong outing in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

DeMarcus Cousins (vs SAC – $7,600): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.5 fantasy points against Utah. Cousins could play over 30 minutes in this one and you know he wants to bust on his former team. He dominated them last year to the tune of an average of 68.9 fantasy points in two games against them. And now he’s got three All-Stars by his side. The Warriors will go out of there way to make sure Cousins eats in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
