High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Rajon Rondo (vs HOU – $6,200): Needs 26.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.4 fantasy points against Atlanta. Maybe Lonzo plays in this game, which would hurt Rondo’s value. But this is a matchup he’s going to raise his level for because he hates Chris Paul. And he’s a veteran who knows the Lakers need a big push. While I don’t like most of the Laker veterans, Rondo has proven his worth this season. Proceed with caution if Lonzo returns. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Collin Sexton (vs PHO – $5,500): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.7 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Sexton was rolling into the break, getting big minutes and putting up strong numbers in all categories. He may not score like Jordan Clarkson, but he’s picking up rebounds and assists. The return of Kevin Love should help his overall value and he’ll continue to be a featured player in Cleveland. And it’s the Suns. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Shabazz Napier (vs POR – $5,200): Needs 22.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.1 fantasy points against Cleveland. Napier has made the most of his limited minutes but if Spencer Dinwiddie is back for this game then I’m not sure what to make of Napier’s value. The good news is that it’s a good matchup and a revenge game for Napier. But he may not see many minutes if Dinwiddie is healthy and ready to make his usual impact. Diagnosis: Slightly inconsistent with a good ceiling.
