Oscar-inspired cocktails to get through whatever the Academy has planned

Woodford Reserve Bourbon Milk Punch: Inspired by George Clooney

Ingredients:

• 2 cups cream
• 2 cups whole milk
• 1 cup Woodford Reserve bourbon
• ¾ cup sifted powdered sugar
• ½ vanilla bean
• Fresh grated nutmeg

Directions:

• In a metal bowl over an ice bath, whisk sugar, cream, milk, and bourbon until nice and frothy
• Add vanilla bean and strain through fine mesh strainer into pitcher
• Place pitcher in freezer for 30 minutes to an hour stirring on occasion
• Pour into glass and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg & garnish with a stick of cinnamon

Ingredients:

• 1 oz. Crystal Head Vodka
• ½ oz. premium melon liqueur
• 3-4 fresh mint leaves
• ¼ oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
• 1 ½ oz.fresh pineapple juice

Directions:

• Muddle mint leaves and Crystal Head in a shaker
• Add ice and remaining ingredients then shake well
• Strain and pour into a cocktail glass

• 2 oz Carpano Antica
• 1 oz Lock Stock & Barrel Rye
• 1 tsp. Borghetti Coffee Liqueur
• 1 dash Mole Bitters (preferably Bittermens)

Direction:

• Stir and strain
• Garnish with orange twist
