High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Cody Zeller (vs WAS – $6,400): Needs 28.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.9 fantasy points against Orlando. Zeller was rolling into the break and has been a reliable option for the majority of the season. The Wizards frontcourt is better with the trades but Zeller is the top frontcourt option on the Hornets aside from Williams. His salary is maybe a tad too high but he’ll do enough to at least get you value. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Marc Gasol (vs SA – $6,200): Needs 28 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.4 fantasy points against Washington. Gasol’s salary has dropped and while he still isn’t playing big minutes, there’s reason to think that will change in this one. The Raptors had an entire week to figure out new ways to get Gasol involved and their staff is smart enough to where they should be able to do it. He’s going to break out at some point. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Mitchell Robinson (vs MIN – $6,100): Needs 27.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.4 fantasy points against Atlanta. If you’re a longtime reader then you’ll know just how much I have loved Robinson prior to the break. His salary has jumped but he’s one of the few things going right with the Knicks right now. And the matchup is good as the Timberwolves still don’t’ offer much in terms of defense. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
