Players costing $6,667 or under

Ricky Rubio (at OKC – $6,400): Needs 27.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.8 fantasy points against Golden State. Rubio was playing well prior to the break and he always plays well against the Thunder. I’m not sure he’s ever missed against them. And he’ll chip in with assists and defensive plays. You can always count on Rubio to put up strong numbers against the Thunder. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Reggie Jackson (at ATL – $5,700): Needs 24.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.9 fantasy points against Boston. Jackson wasn’t playing well going into the break but there were positive signs in the weeks leading up to the final two games, where he reverted back to his bad form. And he gets the Hawks, which should be a good matchup for him. I’m going to give him this game to prove himself. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

DJ Augustin (vs CHI – $4,400): Needs 19.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.7 fantasy points against Charlotte. The minutes are typically there for Augusitn as long as the Magic isn’t blowing out opponents. And against the Bulls, it’s very possible that this turns into a blowout. But maybe the Bulls keep it competitive as the Magic get their legs under them. He’s at a very good salary given his usual minutes and production. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
