High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Lauri Markkanen (at ORL – $8,600): Needs 37 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42 fantasy points against Memphis. Markkanen was playing fantastic going into the break and even though this is a tough matchup for the Bulls, I’m not doubting Markkanen’s game right now. He should continue to roll in this matchup, getting his points and rebounds. He’ll also chip in with assists. Diagnosis: very reliable with a high ceiling.

Pascal Siakam (vs SA – $7,500): Needs 32.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 64 fantasy points against Washington. You typically know what you’re getting from Siakam. I will always love pairing him and Ibaka because you’re going to get value at the very least and on most nights, one of them will have a monster game. And they’ll need a monster game in this one if they want to get some revenge on the Spurs. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Bobby Portis (at CHA – $6,700): Needs 28.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.7 fantasy points against Toronto. Portis was a bit down going into the break but overall he’s been very good for the Wizards and now he gets a great matchup against the Hornets. He’s a strong frontcourt presence on a team that needs anything they can get out of their frontcourt. Portis is also at a good salary compared to the best of the field and his usual production and minutes. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
