FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 22, 2019
High Value PF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Domantas Sabonis (vs NO – $6,100): Needs 26.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.3 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Sabonis has been a bit all over the place this season because his minutes have been all over the place but I like this matchup for him as the Pelicans frontcourt is actually a mess with Davis in the lineup. I have a gut feeling about Sabonis in this one. It feels like he’s in for a big game. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
Marvin Williams (vs WAS – $5,600): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14.6 fantasy points against Orlando. Williams was down in the final game before the break but don’t be too alarmed. He’s been a reliable option for most of the season and it’s a great matchup with the Wizards. He had 34.9 fantasy points against them on Dec. 29. It’s a different Washington team but Williams remains a steady hand. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Markieff Morris (vs UTA – $4,500): Needs 19.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.2 fantasy points against Detroit. Morris should be in the lineup for the Thunder and even though he hasn’t played in nearly two months, he’s joining a team that will get him involved and a second unit that has a good scorer and playmaker alongside him. I’m always a fan of the first game for new players because teammates go out of their way of those guys. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
