High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Kelly Oubre Jr (at ATL – $6,000): Needs 27.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41 fantasy points against Cleveland. Oubre just continues to deliver as a member of the Suns and until I see him tail off or his salary jumps to an unreasonable level, I’ll continue to take him. He does a bit of everything and as mentioned previously, the pace is going to be up in this game. If he remains a starter, that’s an even better sign for his value. But you can take him either way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jordan Clarkson (vs MEM – $5,800): Needs 27.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27 fantasy points against Phoenix. Clarkson’s minutes have been a bit all over the place but the opportunities are going to continue to be there for him. The Grizzlies are on a back-to-back and aren’t very good in the first place, which should help Clarkson. He’s doing more than just score and we know he has a high scoring ceiling based on his usual opportunities. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jaylen Brown (at CHI – $5,000): Needs 22.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.75 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Brown has been all over the place this season but he started showing more confidence prior to the break and look strong in the first game back. And now he gets a matchup he’s continued to play well against. He’s averaging 35.1 fantasy points in two games against the Bulls this season. And the Bulls are on a back-to-back, which should help. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
