High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

DeMar DeRozan (at NY – $8,100)

Needs 37.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44 fantasy points against Toronto.

DeRozan is coming off a strong game against the Raptors but all anyone will remember is the closing moments. The good news is that he gets a chance to bounce back against the Knicks. You can always take good players against the Knicks.

Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jamal Murray (vs LAC – $6,300)

Needs 29.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.75 fantasy points against Dallas.

Murray has been inconsistent at best this season but this should be a game where plenty of points will be scored. We know Murray can get hot at any moment and this feels like a strong outing for him.

Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Terrence Ross (at TOR – $5,800)

Needs 24.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.75 fantasy points against Chicago.

Ross continues to give you reliable production. His salary has jumped up due to it being a slow night but he should still be a guy who gets you at least value given his usual production. Ross has been too good to think he’ll slip up now.

Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Patrick Beverley (at DEN – $4,500)

Needs 21.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.75 fantasy points against Memphis.

The minutes always there for Beverley, which is the good news. And with his defense, this is a game where he could have a bigger impact. The Clippers will have to get stops at some point. He’s not reliable in a single category but he can do a bit of everything.

Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
