DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 24, 2019
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,250
Pascal Siakam (vs ORL – $7,100)
Needs 33.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.75 fantasy points against San Antonio.
As always, you typically know what you’re getting with Siakam. He’s a reliable option and the ceiling is high. I continue to like pairing him with Ibaka because they’ve been a terror for opponents all season and great for DFS players.
Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Montrezl Harrell (at DEN – $6,600)
Needs 31.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.75 fantasy points against Memphis.
The minutes and opportunities continue to be there for Harrell and his salary has dropped to a fairly reasonable level. He’s a double-double threat and the Clippers will need a big outing from him this game if they hope to knock off the Nuggets.
Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
High Value PF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Mason Plumlee (vs LAC – $5,000)
Needs 23.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.75 fantasy points against Dallas.
Plumlee has moved back to the bench but he’s still getting good minutes and providing strong production. He’s also at a very good salary given his usual minutes and production.
Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Davis Bertans (at NY – $3,700)
Needs 17 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.25 fantasy points against Toronto.
Bertans could see more minutes if Aldridge is ruled out for this game but really this is all about the matchup. You can always stack against the Knicks because the Knicks are the Knicks. And Bertans will get his shots.
Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
