High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Nikola Jokic (vs. LAC – $10,200)

Needs 48.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49.25 fantasy points against Dallas.

You typically know what you’re getting from Jokic. He’s a triple-double threat and almost a guaranteed double-double. He had 58.5 fantasy points in 28 minutes against the Clippers on Jan. 10. He’ll continue to deliver.

Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Nikola Vucevic (at TOR – $9,700)

Needs 46.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 54.25 fantasy points against Chicago.

Vucevic has delivered on most nights and while this can be a tough matchup with Toronto’s front court, there’s no reason to doubt Vucevic at this point. Plus, he’s done very well against the Raptors this season, including a 74 fantasy point effort against them on Dec. 28.

Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Paul Millsap (vs LAC – $6,100)

Needs 28.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.75 fantasy points against Dallas.

Millsap has looked the best he’s looked all season in the last few games and that’s bad news for the rest of the league given how good the Nuggets already are. The minutes and opportunities will continue to be there for him, especially against this matchup. We’ve seen him tail off before, which is my only concern.

Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Mitchell Robinson (vs SA – $4,600)

Needs 21.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 12 fantasy points against Minnesota.

Robinson was down against the Timberwolves which was surprising given how good he’s played this season. But if DeAndre doesn’t play, Mitchell should be the guy who gets those minutes. If he starts, you can take him with complete confidence.

Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
