FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 24, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Danilo Gallinari (at DEN – $7,400)
Needs 31.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43.1 fantasy points against Memphis.
Gallinari has been a reliable option all season and I expect nothing less from him in this matchup. He’ll get his points and rebounds and he’s due a big game against his former team. Thus far, he’s just been alright against them.
Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Rudy Gay (at NY – $6,000)
Needs 25.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32 fantasy points against Toronto.
Gay has been fantastic this season and if Aldridge doesn’t end up playing, this should be an easy night at the office for Gay. He’ll be the second option and the second option against the Knicks may as well be the first option. Even if Aldridge plays, Gay will get it done given his salary and opponent.
Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Kevin Knox (vs. SA – $5,300)
Needs 22.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.9 fantasy points against Minnesota.
Again, I can’t make sense of the Knicks rotation. I think Knox should be playing good minutes as the team tries to build around DSJ, him, and Mitchell. But Knox will get 40 minutes one game and 20 minutes the next. I still like his ceiling.
Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a high ceiling.
Davis Bertans (at NY – $4,200)
Needs 18 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.6 fantasy points against Toronto.
You can always grab one of the Denver guards because Denver is going to score a lot of points. But Bertans offers a reliable option at this position. The minutes and shots are going to be there and he gets the Knicks.
Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
