High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Nikola Jokic (vs. LAC – $11,400)

Needs 52 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.6 fantasy points against Dallas.

You typically know what you’re getting from Jokic and he had a monster 54.8 fantasy points in just 28 minutes against the Clippers on Jan. 10. He’s a high ceiling guy who can put up numbers in all categories. And the numbers should be there without question in this one.

Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Mitchell Robinson (vs. SA – $6,100)

Needs 27.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 15.9 fantasy points against Minnesota.

If DeAndre Jordan doesn’t play, I would assume that Mitchell will draw the start and play plenty of minutes. But maybe that won’t be the case because Knicks. I still believe in Robinson and hope the Minnesota game was just a weird night and not the norm.

Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Mason Plumlee (vs. LAC – $5,800)

Needs 26.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.1 fantasy points against Dallas.

Plumlee is coming off the bench but it hasn’t hurt his production. He’s still having strong outings in limited minutes. And he should be able to punish a less than stellar Clippers frontcourt.

Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Ivica Zubac (at DEN – $4,600)

Needs 21 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.6 fantasy points against Memphis.

You can also look at Poeltl in this position though he’s a similar player in that you don’t know what kind of production you’re going to get on most nights. Zubac would seem to get more minutes due to the matchup and he’s had some solid outings overall this season.

Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
