High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Enes Kanter (at CLE – $5,800): Needs 27.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Kanter won’t play huge minutes in Portland but he’s always been a guy who puts up scoring and rebounding numbers in limited minutes. The main thing is that he’ll be getting minutes. And in this game, he’ll be getting minutes against the Cavaliers. He should have no problem getting his points and rebounds in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jarrett Allen (vs SA – $5,100): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.75 fantasy points against Charlotte. Allen will continue to get big minutes and I’m surprised that he remains at such a good salary. He’s the top frontcourt option in Brooklyn and is always a double-double threat. He’ll also come up with a defensive play or three. The Spurs are on a back-to-back and if they have tired legs, Allen will hurt them in a big way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Brook Lopez (at CHI – $4,600): Needs 22 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40.25 fantasy points against Minnesota. Lopez has settled into a nice spot and you know he wants to get the better of his brother. He plays big minutes for the best team in the league and never lacks of opportunities. He’s been a strong option all season and at this salary, you can take him with confidence. And given the matchup, I expect him to hit in a big way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
