High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

D’Angelo Russell (vs SA – $8,400): Needs 39.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 58.75 fantasy points against Charlotte. All-Star D-Loading is in the building. The Spurs can be a tough matchup but they are on a back-to-back and the Nets are at home. And Russell has been fantastic for the second half of the season. He’s doing a bit of everything and the scoring is there in a big way. He’ll keep it going despite going up against the Spurs. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Chris Paul (vs ATL – $8,300): Needs 39.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 59.75 fantasy points against Golden State. No James Harden means a lot of Chris Paul. And against the Hawks, the Rockets would be wise to sit Harden for another game. Paul is looking fresh after the break and has the Rockets ready to make a playoff push. That’s bad news for the rest of the league. Look for another strong outing from him in this one given the opponent. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Ben Simmons (at NO – $8,000): Needs 37.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52.25 fantasy points against Portland. Simmons is coming off a strong performance against the Blazers and the Sixers really need him with Embiid out of the lineup. And this is a good matchup as the Pelicans, even though they are better without Davis (or they at least play harder), their defense is still plenty of holes. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
