High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

LeBron James (at MEM – $11,200): Needs 51.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 64.75 fantasy points against New Orleans. As I’ve been saying in the two games since the break: LeBron doesn’t want to miss the playoffs. He’s going to put up some monster games in this final month and a half and I will take him every single time he plays because of it. You can’t go wrong with this version of LeBron James because this version of LeBron James is out for blood. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kevin Durant (at CHA – $9,400): Needs 43.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43 fantasy points against Houston. No Draymond Green has me feeling better about Durant’s value. The rebounding numbers should tick up and he’ll get more of the playmaking duties from the frontcourt. And Durant is typically a reliable option as is because his scoring is almost always there. The matchup is a good one. His ceiling is still slightly limited due to the team around him, but he’s a reliable option. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Tobias Harris (at NO – $6,800): Needs 31.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.5 fantasy points against Portland. I’m not sure how Butler is ahead of Harris given that Harris is the far more reliable player. He just fits in Philly while Butler is an odd fit pretty much anywhere unless he has the ball in his hands the entire game. Harris will get his usual numbers in this one. You can also look at Khris Middleton in this spot as he’ll have to step up with Giannis out. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
