High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Lauri Markkanen (vs MIL – $7,900): Needs 37.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 61.25 fantasy points against Boston. I’m not in the business of doubting Markkanen. I’ve been recommending him for weeks and he hasn’t let me down yet. This matchup is tough, there’s no doubt about that, but Markkanen is putting up big numbers and he’s the best player on the Bulls. The scoring is there and the rebounding is definitely there with the Bulls being weak in the frontcourt. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kevin Love (vs POR – $6,900): Needs 32.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 54 fantasy points against Memphis. Minnesota Kevin Love is in the building? The minutes aren’t quite there just yet but he’s the best player on the floor for Cleveland and is nearly a guaranteed double-double at this point. The matchup is tough but Love is at a good salary given the circumstances. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Marvin Bagley III (at MIN – $6,500): Needs 30.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Longtime readers know that I’ve been high of MB3 for most of the season and he’s been fantastic in the two games after the break. And now he gets a very good matchup against the Timberwolves. He’s been a big boost of energy off the bench for the Kings and I expect him to keep it up in this one given the opponent. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
