DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 25, 2019
High Value PF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Thaddeus Young (at DET – $5,900): Needs 27.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.5 fantasy points against Washington. Young is looking good after the break after he looked a bit gassed going into it. He’s had a couple of good matchups and things are a bit tougher in this one just because the Pistons frontcourt is fairly strong with Griffin and Drummond. But Young has been fairly reliable all season and remains at a good salary given his usual minutes and production. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Kenneth Faried (vs ATL – $5,500): Needs 26 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38 fantasy points against Golden State. The Rockets have decided to go bigger with Harden out of the lineup and it paid off in a big way against the Warriors. Faried has been very productive for them and while Capela’s return cut into his minute against the Lakers, they were back up against the Warriors. If he starts, take him with confidence, especially against this matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Nikola Mirotic (at CHI – $5,400): Needs 25.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.5 fantasy points against Minnesota. It was only a matter of time before Mirotic made an impact for the Bucks. And it turns out it was just two games. And now he gets a revenge game against the Bulls. He may not be playing many minutes yet, but the shots will continue to be there for him in the Bucks offense. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
