High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Jarrett Allen (vs SA – $6,200): Needs 28.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.2 fantasy points against Charlotte. Allen has been putting up strong games for the Nets all season but he’s really found his rhythm in recent contests. The Spurs can be a tough matchup but not based on how they looked against the Knicks. If the Spurs come out with that same effort, Allen will have no problem getting his points and rebounds. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Brook Lopez (at CHI – $5,700): Needs 26.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.9 fantasy points against Minnesota. I continue to love Lopez’ game because he never lacks for minutes or opportunities in Minnesota. Things won’t come quite as easy with Giannis out of the lineup but the shots would still be there for him. And Lopez will probably have something extra in the tank given the opponent. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Enes Kanter (at CLE – $5,200): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.6 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Kanter isn’t getting big minutes with the Blazers but he’s getting minutes, which is more than we can say about his stint in New York. And as long as he’s getting minutes, he’s going to produce. Getting points and rebounds have never been an issue for him. And the matchup is good because it’s the Cavaliers and the matchup is always good against the Cavaliers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
