High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

D’Angelo Russell (vs SA – $9,100): Needs 39.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 56.7 fantasy points against Charlotte. Russell bounced back from a rough outing against the Blazers with a very strong outing against the Hornets. The Spurs can be a tough matchup but they are playing on a back-to-back and didn’t look good against the Knicks. I expect them to be better in this one, but if they aren’t, Russell will be in for a big night. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Zach LaVine (vs MIL – $8,000): Needs 34.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 50.2 fantasy points against Boston. No Giannis will make this an easier matchup for LaVine and the Bulls. And LaVine has revenge on his mind, if his comments after the Celtics game means anything. He’s played well against the Bulls this season, going over 47 fantasy points in two of the three games. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Buddy Hield (at MIN – $7,000): Needs 30.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Hield has been fantastic for a while now and now he gets a good matchup against the Timberwolves. Maybe he won’t shoot as hot as he did against the Thunder but he’s been doing more than just score during recent weeks, which has really helped his value. And if he remains hot from the field, that’s even better for his value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
