FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 25, 2019
High Value SG
Players costing $6,667 or under
Malcolm Brogdon (at CHI – $6,200): Needs 26.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29 fantasy points against Minnesota. You typically know what you’re getting from Brogdon. He’s been around 30 fantasy points all season and with Giannis out of the lineup, he’ll have the chance to step up and do even more. The matchup is good, even though the Bulls have been playing better since the trade. They are still the Bulls and the Bucks are the best team in the league for a reason, even with Giannis sidelined. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Eric Gordon (vs ATL – $5,600): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.2 fantasy points against Golden State. As long as Harden is sidelined, you can take Gordon with confidence. The minutes are there with or without Harden but with Harden out of the lineup, Gordon becomes the second option on the perimeter instead of the third. And in this matchup, there’s a big chance for him to deliver because the pace is going to be high. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Andre Iguodala (at CHA – $4,400): Needs 19 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.4 fantasy points against Houston. This is largely due to the circumstances. If Draymond is out, Iguodala is going to see more playing time. He’s listed as a shooting guard but we all know that he can play small forward or power forward. He’s going to take the minutes and opportunities usually reserved for Draymond and more time next to four All-Stars is never a bad thing. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
