High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Kenneth Faried (vs ATL – $6,600): Needs 28.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35 fantasy points against Golden State. Faried was put into the starting lineup against the Warriors as the Rockets decided to go big and it worked. If Harden doesn’t play and the Rockets keep the bigger lineup, he should be in for another strong night. The matchup is good as the Hawks pace will lead to plenty of points and rebounds for Faried. Take him with confidence if he starts. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Al-Farouq Aminu (at CLE – $5,500): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.2 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Aminu has been a bit up-and-down in recent contests but I’m not worried about his inconsistent play given the opponent on Monday. He’ll be in for a strong outing against the Cavaliers because the Cavaliers are not a good team. And Aminu typically gets the minutes and opportunities for a strong outing. I have a gut feeling this is a big outing for him in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

PJ Tucker (vs ATL – $5,100): Needs 22.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48 fantasy points against Golden State. Tucker had a big game against the Warriors because he always seems to have a big game against the Warriors. Hopefully, it’s him getting back into rhythm after a rough outing against the Lakers. The matchup is good on Monday given the Hawks pace and Tucker never lacks for minutes or opportunities. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
