Round 4: Jalen Hurd

Courtland Sutton had a decent year for Denver in 2018, but there are serious questions about Emmanuel Sanders’ future. That means the Broncos need to find some more weapons on offense.

Hurd isn’t a game breaker, but he is a big, physical receiver with good hands. That’s the kind of pass catcher that’s typically fared pretty well in Denver. Hurd has a little bit of Ed McCaffrey to his game. Don’t be surprised if Elway sees the same thing and pulls the trigger on him in round four.

Round 4: Jalen Jelks

Fangio can only go so long in this draft without selecting another pass rusher to play with. Jelks has his faults, but one thing he does well is flash the ability to get to the quarterback.

He won’t be a three down player early in his NFL career, but he could give the Broncos an intriguing edge threat on obvious passing situations. That’s solid value this late in the draft. Jelks would be a nice roll of the dice for Denver.
