DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 26, 2019
High Value SG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Terrence Ross (at NY – $5,300): Needs 24.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.25 fantasy points against Toronto. There are literally no high salary shooting guards. They couldn’t move one of the point guards to shooting guard tonight? Anyway, Ross remains hot and until he shows signs of cooling off, you can keep taking him with confidence. And he’s playing the Knicks. Everyone plays well against the Knicks. Except the Spurs, I guess. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Gary Harris (vs OKC – $4,500): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Harris still isn’t playing big minutes but I like him against the Thunder because he’s a guy who always plays well against the Thunder. And he might be more dangerous coming off the bench against a not so great Thunder second unit. He’s at a good enough salary to where he can come up huge. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Danny Green (vs BOS – $4,000): Needs 18.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.5 fantasy points against Orlando. I was a little torn between Green and Smart but I’m going with Green because he’s been a more reliable option as of late. But this has all the makings of a typical Marcus Smart game, especially if Kawhi Leonard ends up playing. Still, Green is the more reliable option and he has a decent enough ceiling if he’s able to get hot from beyond the line. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
