DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 26, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,250
Paul George (at DEN – $10,400): Needs 47.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.75 fantasy points against Sacramento. It was a rough night for George against the Kings but don’t put too much stock into that. He played 50 minutes the night before against the Jazz and didn’t have his legs. He should be back to normal in this one. And his normal is fantastic based on how this season has gone. He needs a big game and he’ll need a big game in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Kawhi Leonard (vs BOS – $9,200): Needs 42.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41 fantasy points against San Antonio. Is Kawhi going to play in this game? Who knows. The Raptors seem to rest them whenever they want with no real explanation or consequences so maybe they rest him in this game even though isn’t a national TV game. But I’m assuming he’ll play since they just rested him. And if he plays, he’ll have a big game because he typically shows up for these big opponents. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
High Value SF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Jonathan Isaac (at NY – $5,800): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.5 fantasy points against Toronto. Aaron Gordon is the high salary guy but I much prefer Isaac of the two. He’s easier to fit into your lineup and has shown just as high of a ceiling. I even like Fournier more than Gordon. The matchup is the same and the matchup is a good one because it’s the Knicks. You can always bet against the Knicks. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Kevin Knox (vs ORL – $5,200): Needs 24 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.5 fantasy points against San Antonio. I still don’t know what to make of the Knicks on most nights but Knox should continue to get the opportunities because he’s one of the good things to happen to the Knicks in recent memory. This should be a fairly high scoring affair. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
