DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 26, 2019
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,250
Pascal Siakam (vs BOS – $7,000): Needs 33.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.75 fantasy points against Orlando. You typically know what you’re getting from Siakam. He’s a reliable option and he’s shown a high ceiling plenty of times this season. He hasn’t been great against the Celtics, which is a little concerning, but I’m not doubting Siakam based on his season history. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Al Horford (at TOR – $6,300): Needs 29.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28 fantasy points against Chicago. Horford was down against the Bulls, which is slightly concerning because that was a good matchup for him. The Raptors are a tough matchup but the tough matchups typically bring out the best out of Horford. So I’m going to trust that he bounces back. You can always take your chances with Gordon against the Knicks. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
High Value PF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Paul Millsap (vs OKC – $6,200): Needs 29.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 55.5 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Millsap is rolling right now and now he gets a matchup he has historically done well against. He’s putting up huge scoring and rebounding numbers and the Thunder have had trouble defensively and on the boards in recent contests. This feels like it’s going to be another big game for Millsap. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Gordon Hayward (at TOR – $4,300): Needs 19.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 16 fantasy points against Chicago. Hayward has been a mixed bag this season but he’s done well against the Raptors. In three games against them, he’s averaging 32.2 fantasy points against them. Maybe this is just his matchup and the one team he’s able to remind fans of what he’s capable of. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
