DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 26, 2019
High Salary C
Players costing over $6,250
Nikola Jokic (vs OKC – $10,000): Needs 48 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Jokic has been fantastic all season and he’ll be fantastic in this game because he’s always fantastic against the Thunder. He had 61.75 fantasy points against them on Dec. 14. He’ll get numbers in all categories and possible end up with a triple-double. I like him more than the two Thunder superstars. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Nikola Vucevic (at NY – $9,600): Needs 46.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53 fantasy points against Toronto. Vucevic has also been fantastic this season and now he gets the Knicks. There is some worry that this will turn into a blowout but anytime I say a game will turn into a blowout, it ends up being competitive. Either way, Vucevic should be in for a strong night given the opponent. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
High Value C
Players costing $6,250 or under
Mitchell Robinson (vs ORL – $5,400): Needs 25.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45 fantasy points against San Antonio. Robinson looked more like himself against the Spurs and it looks like the Timberwolves game was more an exception than the norm. That’s good news for his value heading into this game, which is a tough matchup. But Robinson is the future at center for the Knicks and they know it. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Mason Plumlee (vs OKC – $4,800): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.5 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Plumlee’s minutes continue to go down but he continues to provide great value in those minutes. And he’s another guy who just always plays well against the Thunder. Even in limited minutes, he’ll do enough to his value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.
