The Denver Broncos made a big splash this offseason, as they went out and agreed to trade for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco. During his time with the Ravens, Flacco led Baltimore to a Super Bowl title, and while he has been pretty mediocre since, the thought is he can step in and lead this team over the next season or so.

Even with Flacco coming into the fold, and the team still owing Case Keenum a ton of money, the Broncos should consider drafting a quarterback with their first round pick in April. John Elway has fallen in love with Missouri quarterback Drew Lock, who ended his college career strongly, after putting up historic numbers in the SEC.

Denver will have one of the better defenses in football next season, and they have some solid young offensive weapons in running back Phillip Lindsay and wide receiver Courtland Sutton. While Flacco has never been one to help young quarterbacks along, he does give Lock the opportunity to sit and wait, which could beneficial for him in the long run.

The AFC West sent two teams to the postseason in 2018, and you have to think that the Broncos defense could have been the best unit in the division. They have to do something to fix the offensive side of the ball, and the quarterback spot has struggled since Peyton Manning was under center, so drafting a franchise guy makes sense at No. 10.
