High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Karl-Anthony Towns (at ATL – $10,600): Needs 51.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 72.75 fantasy points against Sacramento. Towns is coming off a monster game against the Kings, he’s been good for most of this season and now he gets the matchup he always dominates. He had 70.25 fantasy points against the Hawks on Dec. 28 and had a monster 86.25 fantasy point effort against them last season. You can take Towns with plenty of confidence in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Rudy Gobert (vs LAC – $8,200): Needs 39.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38 fantasy points against Dallas. Gobert looks to be returning to form and that’s good news for his value. And now he has a good matchup against the Clippers, who don’t have a great frontcourt following the Harris trade. This should be a big scoring and rebounding night for Gobert as he’ll definitely get a double-double and chip in with blocks. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

DeMarcus Cousins (at MIA – $8,000): Needs 38.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51.75 fantasy points against Charlotte. Cousins looked as healthy as he’s looked all season against the Hornets and that’s even worse news for the rest of the league. The Heat can throw Whiteside at Cousins but it’s not like Whiteside is a reliable player. His salary has jumped up there but it’s not high enough given his recent production. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
