DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 27, 2019
High Value SF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Thaddeus Young (at DAL – $5,900): Needs 27.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.5 fantasy points against Detroit. With Sabonis out of the lineup, Young will continue to get big minutes and probably more opportunities. The matchup is good because the Mavericks have literally no one to stop anybody in opposing frontcourts. And Young has been strong all season. He’ll deliver another big outing in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Kent Bazemore (vs MIN – $5,400): Needs 24.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.5 fantasy points against Houston. Bazemore has been all over the place this season but he’s back in the starting lineup and getting strong minutes. And he seems to play well against the Timberwolves. He had 38.25 fantasy points against them on Dec. 28 and 39.5 fantasy points against them last season. Trust the matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Wesley Matthews (at DAL – $4,500): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.75 fantasy points against Detroit. Matthews has played himself into a rhythm with the Pacers, he’s at a good salary given his minutes and opportunities, and now he gets a revenge game against the Mavericks. If you’re questioning the revenge aspect, remember that the Mavericks sent him to New York. Even though it led to Indiana, he was still sent to New York. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
