High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Karl-Anthony Towns (at ATL – $11,200): Needs 51.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 68.7 fantasy points against Sacramento. Towns is coming off a strong game against the Kings and now he has a matchup that he typically dominates. He had 69.3 fantasy points against them on Dec. 28 and a monster 81 fantasy point performance against them last season. This is just a matchup that Towns dominates and the Hawks don’t have an answer for him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

DeMarcus Cousins (at MIA – $8,600): Needs 39.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52.7 fantasy points against Charlotte. Cousins played the most minutes of the season against the Hornets and it led to his best performance. Sorry, NBA. The season is over and the Warriors have officially won. He’s a game changer for the Warriors and most teams won’t have an answer for him. Even with Whiteside, the Heat definitely won’t have an answer for him because Whiteside typically goes invisible in these games. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Cody Zeller (vs HOU – $6,800): Needs 31.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 58.8 fantasy points against Golden State. Zeller has been a reliable option for the majority of the season and now he’s coming off his best game of the season. The Rockets still concern me with their defense and someone has to get the number in the Charlotte frontcourt. Zeller has certainly been the top option for this season. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
