High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Brook Lopez (at SAC – $6,000): Needs 27.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.3 fantasy points against Chicago. You typically know what you’re getting from Lopez. He’s been getting it done with his defense as of late but he’s a guy who never lacks for shots and his rebounds should be up in this matchup given the pace the Kings play at. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Joakim Noah (vs CHI – $5,700): Needs 26.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.4 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Noah has turned back the clock since the break and now he gets his former team. It’s not quite a revenge game but it is a game for Noah to remind the Bulls of how good he once was. If that makes any sense. The matchup is solid enough as the Bulls frontcourt isn’t great. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Robin Lopez (at MEM – $5,600): Needs 25.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.6 fantasy points against Milwaukee. If you don’t like Brook, you can always go with Robin. He’s been on a great run and as I mentioned earlier, I’m not buying into the Grizzlies based on a game against the lifeless Lakers. The Bulls are playing with some passion, which counts for something at this point in the season. Lopez has been getting big minutes and feeding off Markkanen and LaVine. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
